BAOMS Home Professionals OMFS and COVID-19 COVID-19 research COVID-19 research There are 6 key projects to which OMFS surgeons are asked to contribute: Key COVID linked Service Evaluation Projects: COVID-19 OMFS Service Evaluations (Now closed) Summary: During the 1st national UK lockdown (April-July 2020), The Association conducted 2 service evaluations to look at the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and its restrictions on the provision of treatment for odontogenic cervicofacial infections and OMF trauma. The latter service evaluation was repeated during the 3rd lockdown period (January-March 2021). Data for these projects remain available for further analysis.
