DESCRIPTION:In its 20+ year history SFS has delivered teaching to over 230 delegates.\n\nAimed primarily at surgeons\, but also welcoming those from other disciplines\, it delivers professional-level sculptural tuition in a beautiful location in Marylebone\, North London.\n\nLed by the plastic surgery consultant Mr Simon Withey [MS FRCS FRCS(Ed) FRCS (Plast)] Sculpture for Surgeons holds the philosophy that the observational skills acquired through sculptural practice are of great utility in the field of aesthetic\, maxillofacial and reconstructive plastic surgery in terms of clearly visualising and shaping three dimensional anatomical form. These skills can only be acquired through the type of intensive active observation and feedback gained from working with the 3-dimensional clay offered in this learning environment.\n\n
